Quality Health Care

Quality health care is important to families, employers and the economy. Changes are needed to slow the rapid rise in costs, but we need to maintain what is working in our current system and change what is costing us more with no benefit. The changes we make to our health care system affect all of us and will affect the ability of our workers and our employers to compete in a global marketplace. Below are resources that begin to help inform the debate:

Employers for Quality Health Care - Employers for Quality Health Care participates in the national debate on health care reform and is committed to improving access and affordability of health care coverage. Employers nationwide believe reform is necessary to address rising health care costs, improve quality and reduce the number of uninsured. While reform is essential, we must also ensure that reform efforts do not jeopardize the existing backbone of health care coverage provided to 177 million Americans through employer-sponsored plans.
